Travel agents came from far and wide to attend our annual Winter trade shows last week in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Louisville and Nashville. The evening events were hosted by Rene Jongmans, President of Vacation Express, who also showcased the new 2010 brochures. Agents took the opportunity to meet with Vacation Express staff, and with representatives from our most popular hotels to learn about their product updates. Rene's presentation highlighted the recent additions to the 2010 product line, including our custom-packaging booking process for Costa Rica. This unique process makes it easy to shop different itineraries in multiple regions and agents learned why Costa Rica is the ideal vacation destination…from affordable family adventures to idyllic, romantic honeymoons.
Vacation Express' Inside Sales Manager, LeeAnn Roper, was excited to meet with so many of our agents, who consider the events the best source for insider information. The events were sponsored by the Cancun Visitor and Convention Bureau, who told us more about the beach restoration project, airport upgrade and new attractions in Cancun. LeeAnn said she was “pleased so many agents were able to attend” and that each of the trade shows received compliments from many agents.
Our 2010 brochure features a wide range of new specially-selected resorts and hotels, with prices for every budget. Travelers seeking an elite, award-winning hotel or resort should consider our 2010 Concierge Collection, with newly added hotels in Costa Rica, US Virgin Islands and Mexico.
Travel agents wanting to learn more about Vacation Express should contact LeeAnn Roper by email at sales@vacationexpress.com or our Reservations department on 1.800.309.4717.
The travel show in Louisville was wonderful. Very well organized, the vendors were interesting and had tons of great materials, the dinner was lovely and I really enjoyed Rene's talk - it made me want to visit Costa Rica! So, I guess it's lucky that I won a trip there!!
