The new Riu Palace Paradise Island Hotel, Nassau, re-opened last month after having undergone $35 million of major renovations that have upgraded it to the luxurious Palace category. Occupying a prime location next to Atlantis, on a stunning 3-mile stretch of white sand beach, the Riu Palace Paradise Island Hotel has been given the facelift it deserves, as our photos of the transformation reveal.
In place of the standard furnishings that used to occupy the hotel's rooms, the guest rooms are now stylish and luxurious spaces. In the all-suites accommodation, the rooms reflect a modern decor and luxurious features such as flat-screen televisions, coffee makers, in-room ‘laptop’ size electronic safes, unlimited use of the minibar and 24-hour room service.
The public areas have also been completely remodeled and now feature 6 restaurants and 4 bars, including a new Asian cuisine restaurant and a 24-hour sports bar, as well as an upgraded pool area with integrated Jacuzzi offering spectacular views of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The new Renova Spa features a wide selection of treatments and massages, and offers complimentary use of the gym, sauna and jacuzzi.
The hotel's all-inclusive package incorporates unlimited meals, snacks and beverages, use of non-motorized water sports, daytime resort activities, nightly entertainment and an introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool. The Riu Palace Paradise Island offers families, couples and singles the ultimate all-inclusive experience in the Bahamas.
