    • Turks amp; Caicos – where everything’s new and shiny! Part II of II - Where to stay Part I was posted on April 5th and was devoted to general information about the Turks & Caicos Islands, what to do, where to go and when to go, etc. Today I want to share with you some information about several incredible resorts, all set against the backdrop of legendary Grace Bay Beach in Provo with its aqua-marine waters and miles of uncrowded powdery white beach. Just to reiterate, Provo is pretty much a laid-back beach destination with modern, luxury condo-style resorts boasting state-of-the-art facilities, catering to honeymooners, families and groups of friends.

    • Turks amp; Caicos – where everything’s new and shiny! Part I of II I personally have not visited Turks & Caicos yet – but it’s definitely on my “bucket list”! Being a beach person, I just know the spectacular white sand beaches I’ve written about, researched and seen in photographs plus the amazing multi-hued turquoise water will be incredible and zoom to the top of my list of favorite beach destinations! Recently, Condé Nast Traveler voted Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales (Provo) as The World's #1 Beach. And now with so many outstanding resorts to choose from, the appeal has grown significantly. Add to that the close proximity of the islands to the U.S. and the fact that English is the official language and the U.S. dollar the official currency and it becomes even more appealing for those looking for a comfortably familiar island escape. Always a favorite with honeymooners and couples planning their dream wedding, Turks & Caicos is now fast becoming a great family destination as well. If you love the beach and water activities – this is definitely a destination you should consider.
